| Do You Have a Weather Station |
|---|
Weather Stats and maps are collected from several different weather providers. Weather
conditions at K5UY are compiled from a Davis Pro II weather monitor. Wind speed is measured from a Anemometer at the 65 foot level, of my 86 foot communication tower at ARS K5UY.
My efforts are primarily dedicated to Amateur Radio operators around Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and areas throughout the southeast where other amateur radio operator friends live.
K5UY is an active participate of Weather Underground and NOAA data sharing initiative. This Station is identified with a
Weather Underground station callsign KTXALGOA1. Any content inquiries or content requests, can be directed to K5UY.
I can be reached most nights at 3686.5 with friends. All Extra Class license radio amateurs are welcome to visit me at that frequency. If you would like to have your weather station added to Texas Weather Watch you are encouraged to contact me. I welcome all ARS weather stations regardless of your location. Please summit the URL of your weather Underground Rapid Fire display and you will be added.

Texas Weather Watch has joined the Citizen Weather Observer Program contributing information to NOAA by uploading weather data to the TEXAS ARSWXNET/CWOP Station sponsored by NOAA and affiliates.
This Site Takes Participation
This site is possible became many Low band hams contribute their time helping me gather information and important weather data, some at their own expense. I would like to thank all contributors, especially the ARS who transmit weather stats for so many of us.

Enhancements
Gallery 3 has passed all user trials and is fast becoming the mainstay Photo Gallery of the web.
One of the really interesting enhancements to the new Gallery is the Face Book upload feature.
Now users with a simple "click", of the mouse can upload their best photos to their facebook account. I've tested this process and it worked as expected.
Many of the features that graced Gallery 2 have been removed. Many changes are good ones, some I disagreed with; however, functionality
and performance has increased with Gallery 3.
Remember, you must register before you can upload pictures. Registering entitles you to your own Gallery Album with unlimited picture access.
All Amateur Radio Operators, Chapter S2 precipitants and friends may register.
