There have been few things in my life other than family, that have prevailed like Amateur Radio. It's been a friend, education, hobby and never ending challenges. I am a retired process operator and Technical Writer. I retired in Feb. 2010 with no regrets. Predominately a low band operator, I like DXing the low bands and most of all spending time talking with friends of over 20 years. I've been a ham for 38 years. I use an Ft-2000 and a Two Element Vertical Array Full size. I have a 160 meter Dipole at 85 feet and a Half Square Vertical Array curtain on 40 meters.
Outside of Amateur Radio I like riding a GL1800 Goldwing and travel often. Visit the Dead Air Gallery and view more pictures http://www.3686online.com/gallery/index.php
Below is a picture of my station and office. I have a wonderful family and wife. I am truly blessed. I hope you will join us on 3686.5Khz
