From the moment I laid eyes on Beau at Hobby Airport in 1998, I knew he was going to be exceptional. At eight weeks, he was a big boy. Throughout his life Beau excelled in everything, but most of all his Loyalty to me was his greatest attribute.

Beau was smart, tough and feared nothing on two or four legs. I slept a lot easier while he was on guard in the front yard. I miss Beau, but nothing would have been worse than not having him in my life and by my side.

I have many stories and experiences with Beau, but I think the most notable is Beau chasing an Emu Bird through a pasture.   This bird was so fast, and probably the only thing I ever saw Beau not able to catch.   He ran so far, I had to chase him down in my truck.
